BCAP is thrilled to announce that Mariah Frank (she/her) began in the newly created role of Associate Director on February 1, 2026! After graduating from the Yale School of Public Health with a Masters in Social and Behavioral Sciences, Mariah joined BCAP staff as Prevention Director in July, 2021.

For the past four and a half years, Mariah has led the Prevention Department and been responsible for managing HIV/HCV/STI Testing, PrEP, Syringe Access, Speaker's Bureau, Community Outreach, and Atlas Program services. During this time, Mariah worked closely with BCAP's Executive Director in overseeing agency operations, services, resource development, and strategic initiatives. For the time being, Mariah will continue to oversee Prevention Services, in addition to her new role.

In 2025, with Mariah's guidance, BCASP's Prevention Team helped improve the lives of many people in our community by providing:

  • 1,623 HIV, hepatitis C, and/or STI counseling, testing and referral sessions for people needing to update their status

  • 76 people with PrEP services to reduce their risk of HIV acquisition

  • 6,383 contacts with people who use/inject drugs and/or are experiencing homelessness with thousands of harm reduction supplies, toiletries, and hygiene items, warming supplies, food, and/or hydrating beverages

Congratulations to you, Mariah!
