Joy, community, and HIV awareness at Pride events this june!

WOW - what an incredible Pride season BCAP had this year!

Every June, BCAP’s Prevention Team enjoys a month full of community outreach, connectivity, and education to celebrate and commemorate Pride.

Pride 2025 did not disappoint! We had an amazing month full community events, some we attend every year and a few that were brand new to us, including:

• Broomfield Pride

• Longmont Pride

• Boulder Pride

• Lyons Pride

• Rocky Mountain Equality’s Pride Kiki Ball

• Rocky Mountain Equality’s Youth Pride

• Denver Pride Parade

Each event was filled with joy, community, and opportunities to raise awareness of HIV Services in our region, like BCAP’s HIV Case Management, HIV/Hepatitis C/STI testing, PrEP Navigation, Harm Reduction, and Atlas programs. The community response at this year’s Pride events was incredible and the BCAP team was able to reach ~1,200 people across these events. For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, BCAP staff were able to offer free testing during a few of the Pride events in our effort to always make this service as approachable, accessible, and low-barrier as possible!

Each year, BCAP’s Prevention Team wraps up June full of renewed purpose and drive to serve our community and BCAP’s mission. We were honored as always to be invited to each one of these events and we are looking forward to Pride 2026!
