This year is BCAP's 40th anniversary of providing HIV Services and we're celebrating at our annual fundraiser, Local Legends Bubbly Brunch, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Boulder Jewish Community Center! This event is intended for guests 18 years and older.
200 friends of BCAP will each other’s company; a mimosa or Bloody Mary sponsored by William H. Snowden and Tito's Homemade Vodka; and a delicious buffet brunch catered by Savory Cuisines.
The uproarious Mrs. Eda Bagel will emcee the fun as we celebrate this year’s honorees:
2025 Local Legend - Mrs. Eda Bagel
2025 Don Holloway Award for Distinguished Volunteer Service - Bryn Long
BCAP is proud to be honoring Mrs. Eda Bagel (a.k.a. Jeffrey Kash) as our 2025 Local Legend, for significant contributions to BCAP’s mission since arriving in Boulder 16 years ago. Mrs. Eda Bagel has been instrumental in the raising of over $3.5 million for charities since entertaining audiences across the country for nearly 30 years, with over $1 million of that going directly to nonprofits in Boulder County. BCAP has been the largest benefactor of those funds raised locally. Over the years, Mrs. Eda Bagel has promoted BCAP’s vital HIV Services community-wide, regularly referred folks to services and volunteering, and was a member of the Atlas Prevention Program.
BCAP is delighted to be honoring Bryn Long as our 2025 Volunteer of the Year, who began volunteering with BCAP in 2018! For seven years and counting, Bryn has routinely shopped at Community Food Share to bring groceries to BCAP’s Jack Hodges Food Pantry that provides nutritious food, hydrating beverages, and essential toiletries to people living with HIV experiencing food insecurity. Bryn's also regularly delivered groceries to the homes of low-income and homebound people living with HIV, and he enjoys being part of the BCAP team providing food to community members.
The event will include a Live Auction and Paddle Raise to raise much-needed funds to serve people living with HIV and people at risk of acquiring HIV and hepatitis C.
