Thank You to All Who Supported BCAP on Colorado Gives Day!

Thank you to all who supported Boulder County AIDS Project on Colorado Gives Day! With 206 generous gifts from community supporters, BCAP surpassed our goal and raised $25,368.27!

These funds will have a significant impact on improving the lives of people living with or at risk of acquiring HIV. Your gift to BCAP helps reduce HIV and hepatitis C transmission locally through testing and referrals, harm reduction strategies and supplies, and outreach education and messaging. Your donation also helps ensure people living with HIV (PLWH) have access to specialized case management services, medical care and insurance coverage, and basic needs assistance.

In 2020, BCAP needs community-wide support to meet our prevention and care services goals to provide:

  • 700 HIV tests and 200 HCV tests

  • 250 classroom and community group presentations

  • 180 testing and outreach activities

  • 50,000+ supplies to reduce transmission

  • case management to 250 PLWH

  • health insurance assistance to 130 PLWH

  • food to 130 PLWH and their households

  • housing assistance to 80 PLWH

  • utility assistance to 45 PLWH

  • medical transportation to 50 PLWH

Thank you for helping raise HIV awareness, reduce transmission, and strengthen our community through your generous giving. Thank you as well for helping people living with HIV meet their basic needs and improve their health through your generous giving.
