BCAP Welcomes Mariah Frank as Prevention Manager
BCAP is excited to announce Mariah Frank has joined staff as Prevention Manager! Mariah holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary and recently graduated with her Master's in Public Health from the Yale School of Public Health, where she focused her work on harm reduction as well as health and social justice, particularly among people who use drugs, sex workers, and the LGBTQ+ community.
Mariah holds years of experience in the public health non-profit sector, both through employment and volunteer work. She is so excited to join BCAP and the prevention team! She recently shared, "I deeply believe that you can never be the expert in someone else's experience. Compassion and empathy are at the core of the work I do, and I believe everyone has a right to their best health, whatever that means for them."
Mariah's first day was July 6, 2021 when she joined staff remotely. She will be in-person at the BCAP Boulder office as of July 19, 2021. Welcome Mariah!
