BCAP Welcomes Kelsey Weigman to Prevention Team

August 20, 2019

Boulder County AIDS Project is excited to announce that Kelsey Weigman will be joining our team as the new Prevention Coordinator!

Kelsey first got involved with BCAP as a volunteer completing a 600 hour internship as part of Temple University’s Bachelor’s in Public Health Program. During her internship, Kelsey provided HIV and HCV testing, educational presentations, street outreach, and syringe access at BCAP.

After graduation, Kelsey furthered her experience in harm reduction and prevention by joining the staff at Liver Health Connection as their Community Outreach Coordinator. In this role, she specialized in testing, presentations, and outreach in jails, halfway houses, methadone clinics, inpatient rehab, detox centers, and community events.

Kelsey has a strong passion for health equity, harm reduction, and working with underserved populations. She is excited to continue her professional development as a BCAP staff member in the Prevention Department.

Kelsey’s start date at BCAP is Tuesday, September 3. As you see or meet Kelsey, please welcome her to our team!
